About PaperPluto
Educational resource for previous year question papers
Our mission
PaperPluto exists to make previous year question papers easier to find and use for students in India. Our mission is simple: centralise past papers in one place so that students spend less time searching across multiple board and university websites and more time studying. We do not provide coaching, answers, or study material beyond the question papers themselves. We are a discovery and access tool for authentic question papers that are already in the public domain or made available by educational bodies for educational use.
Educational intent
The site is built with a clear educational intent. It is aimed at students, teachers, and anyone preparing for exams who needs to practise with real past papers. Using previous year papers is a standard and recommended way to prepare for board and competitive exams; it helps students understand question patterns, manage time, and identify weak areas. PaperPluto does not claim to replace textbooks, classes, or official resources. It complements them by making it easier to find and use past papers. All papers on the platform are intended for educational use—for revision, practice, and exam preparation. They are not meant for commercial use or redistribution beyond personal study.
How we source content
The question papers on PaperPluto are sourced from publicly available materials. Many boards, universities, and exam bodies publish or share previous year papers on their official websites or through authorised channels. We collect, organise, and present these papers in a structured way so students can find them quickly. We do not create the papers ourselves; we curate and categorise what is already available. When we add a paper, we aim to ensure it is correctly labelled (board, course, subject, year) and that the file is complete and readable. If we receive a request for a paper that is not yet on the site, we consider adding it if we can source it from a reliable, public source. We do not host papers that are not intended for public or educational use.
Coverage of exams
The platform covers four broad categories. School includes papers from central and state boards such as CBSE, ICSE, and RBSE (Rajasthan Board), typically for classes 10 and 12. College includes question papers from universities and colleges, often organised by degree, semester, and subject. Entrance covers exams such as JEE, NEET, GATE, and similar tests used for admissions. Competitive covers government and banking exams conducted by bodies like UPSC, SSC, and various recruitment boards. The exact list of boards, universities, and exams may grow over time as more papers are added. Users can browse by category or use search to find papers by subject, exam name, or year. We do not claim to have every paper for every exam; we aim to build a useful and accurate collection that we maintain and improve.
Papers are for educational use
All question papers on PaperPluto are provided for educational use only. Students may use them for personal study, revision, and exam preparation. Teachers may use them for classroom practice or assessment preparation. The papers are not to be sold, redistributed commercially, or used in ways that violate the terms of the original publishing bodies. If you are unsure about how you may use a particular paper, please consult the official website of the relevant board or exam body. We respect copyright and take down content when we receive valid requests from rights holders.
No misleading claims
PaperPluto does not make misleading claims. We do not claim to be officially affiliated with any board, university, or exam body unless explicitly stated. We do not guarantee exam results, ranks, or admission. We do not sell or promise any coaching, notes, or paid content as part of this platform. The service is free: users can view and download question papers without paying. The site may show advertisements to support running costs; that is separate from the educational content. Our privacy policy, terms of use, and content guidelines are published on the site so that users know how we handle data and what they can expect. If something is wrong with a paper (for example, wrong file or missing pages), users can report it so we can correct or remove it.
How to use the site
You can search for papers using the search bar on the homepage by typing a subject, exam name, or year. You can also browse by category (School, College, Entrance, Competitive) and then narrow down by board, course, and subject. Clicking a paper opens it for viewing in the browser; you can also download the PDF if available. No account is required to view or download papers. If you cannot find a paper you need, you can submit a request through the request page; we consider requests but cannot promise that every requested paper will be added. For general questions, feedback, or reports, you can use the contact email given on our Contact page.
Contact and transparency
We believe in being transparent about what the platform is and what it is not. If you have questions about the site, want to report an error, or have a suggestion, please use the contact details provided on the Contact page. We do not use misleading tactics to attract users; we aim to be a straightforward, trustworthy resource for students looking for previous year question papers.
